Salon Salon was founded by owner/stylist Tim in 1986. Formerly situated in Town & Country (now Santana Row) and Winchester, Salon Salon has maintained a presence in Silicon Valley for over 35 years. Our philosophy is centered around respecting every client's individual needs and providing peace, harmony, and well-being through a celebration of beauty and self.
About Tim
My passion for hair design began in the early 80's when I first started as an apprentice under the world-renowned Yosh Toya. Over the years, my interest in hairstyling has taken me to Paris, Japan, New York, and South Korea, where I extensively trained with some of the leading hairstylists in the industry and accumulated a wide range of techniques, such as the "3-curve shear" and other texture-oriented methods. To help showcase your hair's unique textures, movements, and natural beauty, I believe in "cutting into the hairstyle, rather than blow-drying the style."
